Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell trilogy sighted on Amazon France, suggests HD collections

Ubisoft could be releasing HD remakes for both the Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell series

A Prince of Persia trilogy and a Splinter Cell trilogy have been sighted on Amazon France as exclusives for the PlayStation 3. If we had to guess, we’d wager that HD remakes, in the style of the God of War and Sly Cooper collections, are on the way.



GamesRadar attempted to contact Ubisoft for clarification, but received no response.

    OMG! They need to bring this to Xbox!!!!!!! I love the first three Splinter Cells so much and have been wanting HD remakes of them since for the last few years! I might just by a PS3 over this, one of the backwards compatible ones on Ebay so I can play my Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy collection! OMG Chaos Theory is my favorite all time multiplayer game and my favorite game of all time right behind Mass Effect! I feel like I'm being teased. Come on Microsoft, push Ubisoft! Come on Ubisoft give Xbox this!!! (And give PS3 owners Conviction already too!). I'm so sick of damn exlcusives from thrid party publishers, dumbest things ever!

    Might pick up the Prince of Persia trilogy if it's on the 360. Played the originals but never owned them.

    I just bought PoP: SoT. I guess I'll wait for a confirmation on this before buying the rest of the trilogie.

    That would be awesome. I've yet to play through the PoP games even though I own them. I got stuck on a part on the first one (the elevator ride where you have to protect the princess) and gave up. I agree with EliteMonkey that including the PS2 version of DA would be awesome since I've already played through the 360 version and I've heard the PS2 version is much different.

    Well, both POP and Splinter Cell trilogy already exist on the PC in Europe, I'm guessing this would still be only a port of those to PS3. Plus, Amazon France does tend to list stuff that don't actually exist in the end (they had listings for games canceled or different listings for the same game because of different naming conventions, with or without a subtitle in the name of the game)

    Please be true! I would totally buy a Splinter Cell trilogy collection (especially if it included the Xbox/PS2/GC version of DA).
