Complete all test chambers in the Excursion Funnels co-op course
Simply complete all the test chambers in Course 4.
Find the hidden companion cube in co-op test chamber
In Course 4, during the second part of test chamber 9, you will use a repulsion wave to float over a set of spikes below. Use another portal in the room below to the right to move your bots to the left as well as a light bridge on the opposite wall at the far end, near the beginning of the conveyor belt to stop the turrets from entering the area. As you float towards the office at the far end, shoot a portal to the left- on the same wall where the light bridge should be coming from- that will allow a repulsion wave to flow to the right through the opening before the office. Float along to the end and you will find the companion cube sitting in a room. All you have to do is look at it for the achievement/trophy to pop.
Collect all other Portal 2 Trophies
Collect all of the Portal 2 trophies, both single and co-op to get this granddaddy of them all.
Complete Chamber 3 in the Hard-Light Surfaces co-op course using only 5 total portal placements
For this achievement/trophy, use the video for portal placement and techniques. Basically you need to use 3 portals in the first room and 2 in the second. In the second room, you will need to perform a tricky bank shot with your body to land on the exit platform. It will take some practice, but it can be done.
After completing co-op, complete Calibration Course online with a friend who hasn’t played before
Once you have completed the co-op campaign with a buddy, find someone who hasn’t played co-op yet and perform the beginning calibration course with them. You can also ask a friend who hasn’t played co-op yet to load the game up for a hug and that will nab you this reward as well as an extra hug since you can’t perform the hug until after the calibration is complete. Sadly, playing split screen doesn’t achieve this.
Win 3 co-op games of rock-paper-scissors in a row
During Course 1, you will get the Rock, Paper, Scissors gesture. Simply keep playing until you win three matches in a row. It may take a minute or four, but it will happen soon enough.
Complete Course 4 with neither you nor your co-op partner dying
This may be the toughest achievement/trophy of the bunch. To get this, you need to play through the entirety of course 4 without dying. If you do die, you need to start back at test chamber 1. You cannot restart a test chamber halfway through the course and give it another try. It’s either all or nothing.
Complete all test chambers in the Team Building co-op course
Simply complete all the test chambers in Course 1.
For this achievement/trophy I chose to complete test chambers 2, 3, and 4 in Course 2. The first one is easy as well, but has more travelling time to do than the next three. Chambers 2, 3, and 4 can easily be finished in less than 60 seconds each- even when you mess up which I so embarrassingly did in chapter 4- as the video shows.
Complete all test chambers in all courses of co-op
Simply complete all of the test chambers in Courses 1-5.
