Pokemon X and Y Weekly - Unsung heroes

After the excitement of reporting live from the Japan on last week's Pokemon X and Y Weekly, Hollander Cooper and Henry Gilbert are still reeling from all the giddy Pokémania. But they're not about to miss a show, so they're back this week to talk about their favorite upcoming underdogs--the new Pokémon that just aren't getting enough attention right now. See which underappreciated scrappers they plan on training, then hop over to our YouTube channel and get your subscribe on!

Pokemon X and Y Weekly is GamesRadar's weekly Pokemon X and Y show. The title was a pretty obvious hint. Come back every Tuesday for the latest news, analysis, and speculation about the next generation of Pocket Monsters.

That Henry pokemon you guys got the exclusive reveal on looks pretty cool.... I hope his evolution adds something like some horns, or maybe he can have a pouch to carry a baby Henry.

I'm very, very excited for Malamar. Not only does it look like a--and I hate myself for using this word--badass supervillain, but its typing is quite interesting. I'm really loving it. Also Mega Absol, because dat design.

Hey! I've been singing the praises of both Noivern and TalonFlame ever since they've been revealed! They are certainly not unsung by me! :P Of course though, it's still cool to see you guys mention them and liking them as well ^^ those two alongside with Tyrantrum are my favorite new pokemon revealed so far (:

Swirlix is rather odd, His artwork is implying he's literally a cotton Candy looking pokemon with nothing but a tail cone yet in game he has feet and you can barely see his tail cone. Its odd really. I really love Clauncher and Skrelp, we have a badass looking Pistol Shrimp and a poison/Water seahorse that looks like a new Seadra.

Jesus Christ that little ending puppet show was scary as fuck

Eh...I'm not really a fan of Swirlix. I really like Skiddo though, mostly because we went too long without a goat Pokémon (Arceus is debatable). Also, I kind of dig Bunnelby. ... ...yeah that was an awful pun.

I'm gonna go with Gogoat. Dude looks pretty cool, I'd ride one.
  • SpadesSlick - September 24, 2013 3:44 p.m.

Clauncher is my favorite of the announced pokemon. I love the crustacean pokemon and this one is the most badass yet.

Me too. Its odd really, you think we'll see a Lobster? Crawdaunt is a Crawfish, but his japanese name is that of a lobster.
