Rumor: no third installment for Pokemon Black and White? - Take this one with a huge grain of salt, since it's been through a game of translation telephone. (Note and correction: The person who was interviewed in this story is Mana Ibe, an illustrator for the Pokemon Trading Card game and a Pokemon designer for Pokemon Black and White - I referred to the interviewee as a "he" but she's actually a woman.)

CoroCoro article about upcoming Victini movie and event - For the first time ever, there will be two different versions of a Pokemon movie. Plus, the article contains news of an upcoming Japanese Wi-Fi download event that pertains to those of us who imported B&W.

Pokemon Black and White feature enhancements when played on a 3DS - Not too exciting, but perhaps somewhat interesting, this news lends weight to the argument that the third installment of B&W might still be for the 3DS.

I can make a Spritomb have Wonder guard Naturally. It's Called Skill Swap in a 2 on 2 battle! Celebi will probably be over wifi. I wonder if I can get two! I got the dogs over wifi. I got 6 sets. Yay for multiple Game packs! This being the final is like Fire Red and Leaf Green. Only two. lol Bidoof in 3D! Ironically the 3ds cars are the same, just larger capacity and different shape. Always focus on abilities, they are the key to battle after 3rd gen. You guys got into people as pokemon too well! Oh and I will hop on this now. I would take your jobs in a heart beat, and will listen to any recommendations you give! If I were to ask the creators one question, it would be, "How much effort did you actually put into the first games?" Magma Armor to hatch eggs is the best passive ability next to pick up! Hope to hear good things next week. Last episode before english versions!

QOTW: I would ask the creators how much longer the franchise is going to continue. It's been 15 years and still going strong, but I wonder if they'll ever think the day would come that they stop making new games. Or, will they pass the legacy on to someone else? I know the end of Pokemon is something NONE of us want to think about, but the thought has been lingering in the back of mind, and I would like to know what the creators would say about the subject.

I would ask whether mew or arceus came first in the pokemon universe because mew is said to be the ancestor of all pokemon while arceus is said to have created the universe.

I would ask them how far they plan on taking the franchise. The overlap is getting sort of crazy, and I'm curious how long they think they can drag this out. We all love our pokemon, but this couldn't possibly be indefinite. Personally, I think they need a start over. Like Black and White, but without bringing all the old pokemon in. Just have the 150+, and just leave it at that. You know, sort of start the cycle over.

Also, I think the translation from Mana Ibe means that the 3rd installment will be DS compatible and that the third game was completed at the same time as Black and White—so it will NOT be on the 3DS only. Just my interpretation.

@Carolyn I had never listened to TalkRadar until last week's 'bizarro' episodes. And I will be checking out the Pokemon Mall Tour this week in Indy. I'll be on the lookout for any hacked pokemon there. And if you want an Ash's Pikachu I have 4 (on my 4 different cartridges).

I would ask them if they ever considered having more than four moves available for pokemon to use at one time and if they will ever change that.

I would ask them why they don't actually INNOVATE. The Pokemon games have been more or less the same and all other games have left them behind. Is it really too much to ask that they do, I don't know, a 3D RPG like, say, Monster Hunter but with Pokemon?

Shouldn't Crystal and Platinum have been switched? Gold and Silver are closely related at metals to platinum and Diamonds and Pearls are more similar to Crystals.
