The idea that a Pokemon could evolve to resemble an object like a Poke Ball is an interesting one. Similar evolutions can be observed in real life too, with animals that have evolved to trick either predators or prey into thinking they're something they're not. The original Red and Blue introduced Voltorb and Electrode, but they were extremely straightforward takes on the concept – both of them just look like Poke Balls with faces, one bigger than the other. Foongus and Amoonguss are more creative takes on the Poke Ball Pokemon design, with the same typing as one of our favorite Pokemon of all time, Venusaur.

I don't like these ones or their names. They've already done a Pokemon that's a Pokeball in design, so why do it again?
