PlayStation Network going offline for scheduled maintenance on Sep 21

Sony has announced that the PlayStation Network is about to go offline for a scheduled maintenance. The maintenance is scheduled to begin at about 8:00 am (PDT) on September 21 and will last till about 5:00 pm (PDT). During that time, users will not be able to access the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home or Account Management. Sony also warms that users may have difficulty signing in to the PlayStation Network.

The maintenance will also apply to users in the following countries: United Arab Emirates, Australia, Great Britain, Ireland, and New Zealand. According to Sony’s European PlayStation Blog, users can sign in to PSN before the maintenance begins at 16:00 (BST) on September 21, 2010. You should still be able to collect trophies during the maintenance, but your profile will not be updated until it is complete.

    @PaulieWaulie *giggles* Anyways, about 300 if you want a decent bundle, plus about 60$ a year for the online modes, plus the inevitable RRoD replacement cost... so yeah, about 600$ if you wanna use it for a longtime. -_- Which is why I put up with the shortcomings of PSN.

    I'm actually getting a bit sick of PSN now, nearly everytime I go to play online I have to install some bullshit update to play Blu Rays in 3D or some other feature I'll never use and now it's down on the first day off in the week I've had in ages. How much is a 360?

    I hope this maintenance will help with the lag issues they've been having lately and mabye stop some of these hacks, man there is so many people hacking leader boards and hacking during game sessions. It's ruining the game fun factor, wheres the sony police?

    I'm alright with it. I can't get the Ghost of Sparta demo yet anyways because it's currently only for Plus users, and I don't want a Plus account for just that. I can just play more Metroid things.
