Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies players will be able to download a prologue episode and extra costumes soon after the game releases. Capcom confirmed the new content, planned to release in Japan in coming weeks, will also hit western territories.

We don't have a firm date for any of the extra goodies--we only know the game itself is coming to 3DS eShop in fall--but we do know a bit about the new content. Siliconera reports that the episode titled Turnabout Return bridges the eight-year narrative gap between Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney and Dual Destinies.

Phoenix's first client after years without an attorney's badge is an orca and its pirate-garbed trainer. The killer whale's charges? Murder, duh.

Thre new costumes are free for a limited time in Japan: a school uniform for techno-empath Athena Cykes, casual wear for Apollo Justice, and Phoenix Wright's old suit (sans vest and pocketwatch, apparently).

Check out our E3 preview for more on the return of gaming's shoutiest attorney.

Scratch that, you do, but only in investigation segments, you select an area and if possible the camera will move there to look closer in said area

I... Barely notice any difference between the Phoenix's main costume in the game, and the DLC one, to be honest ._.

The only difference is the tip checkmark on his forehead from his hair and the fact that his suit is more fancier with a pocket watch on the front pocket Personally I don't care about.the costumes, I wouldn't even let them wear it, what's the point of alt. Their cloths when on certain aspects its part of their design. Even if they are free.

You'll know when we know. Unless it's under embargo; then you'll know as soon as we know we can tell you we know. Y'know?

I understand, but you guys should use your connections to get a special scoop.

NICE didn't think it would be confirmed confirmed outside japan At one point you want to hate Capcom, on ths other hand Ace Attorney is a series that would benefit DLC, its apparently episodic, which I guess is to build suspense but hey atleast the actual game isn't stripped. Side stories like these are alright. An Orca whale wearing a pirate hat and a moustache, Yes/10 its Parrot Mania all over again
