Pen To Paper: Glover's entering Dream land and Lindsay's in with Bobby

Considering he was too old for this sh*t in Lethal Weapon, Hollywood veteran Danny Glover is still cutting the mustard after turns in circular bladed psycho tale Saw and Wes Anderson’s riotous The Royal Tenenbaums. Glover is now clearing his throat to appear in the musical Dreamgirls, Bill Condon’s “fictionalised re-telling” of the life and times of Diana Ross and the Supremes. No word yet on who will be lining up alongside Danny as Ms Ross but we’re promised a peak inside the height of Motown madness.

Filming kicks off next week on Emilio Estevez’s indie Bobby, and he’s still signing up stars to his part-biopic, part-fiction flick about the last day of Robert Kennedy’s life at LA’s Ambassador Hotel. The latest person through the swinging doors is Hollywood wild child Lindsay Lohan, who will play a woman who weds her boyfriend’s brother (Elijah Wood) to keep him from going to Vietnam. Also joining the cast are Jarhead’s Brian Geraghty, as one of Kennedy’s campaign workers, and Shia LaBeouf (The Greatest Game Ever Played), who will appear as a drug addicted campaign volunteer.

Already waiting in the Ambassador’s lobby are Wood, Anthony Hopkins, Demi Moore and Sharon Stone.
