How long has it been since you've played Starcraft? Weeks? Months? Years? Probably years. In that case you'll probably find our guide to the Terran campaign pretty handy. We've got the first 3 missions for you today, but don't worry, we'll be updating it next week with the rest. In the mean time, keep practicing and get those APMs up! And if you don't know what APMs are, may God have mercy on you if you try the multiplayer.

If movies, television and America’s Funniest Home Videos have taught us anything, it’s that nothing in this world is funnier than a man doubling over and clutching at his junk in agony and confusion. It’s preferable if this is immediately after his crotch has been nailed with flying sports equipment, a foot or a dog’s teeth, but we’re not really picky so long as someone lets loose a howl of pain and maybe falls over...

StarCraft II's release wasn't without fanfare. But while most people are focusing on the big things like the intricacies of the storyline and the pros and cons of Battle.net 2.0, they're also missing out on a lot of goodies hidden in the margins. These aren't Easter eggs or anything that's meant to be hidden, they are very easy to overlook. Come along, and check out some small things that really tie the whole experience together...

If your eyes light up when you hear the word "Elite" in a non-Xbox 360 setting, go buy Dark Nova right now. Everyone else, listen up. Back in 1984's early days of PC gaming, when the computers were made of wood and the mouse and keyboard were just two rocks the user banged together, there was a game called Elite. It was a tough game to explain because it sounded boring. You were a space trucker...

The light bulb, penicillin, mathematics, democracy, and porn. They’re all important inventions, testaments to mankind’s collective creativity and ingenuity. But none of them were ever as much fun as StarCraft. Well, maybe most of them. It’s been about 12 years since the first StarCraft launched. The seminal title was a genre-defining game that cast a shadow over every RTS that followed in its massive footprints. But this week, StarCraft fans finally got the sequel they’ve been waiting over a decade for and it definitely doesn’t disappoint…

If you live in the US, you should be watching PBS pretty much all the time for great shows like NOVA and the stupidly time-wasting Antiques Roadshow. But chances are that you, like us, spend more time on Cartoon Network. Well pay attention, bubs! If you've never seen Video Games Live, you will want to, and soon you can (in some areas)...

Taking the piss out of Heavy Rain is neither big nor clever. Still, it is really funny, as this year's favourite gaming meme, Press X to Jason, admirably proved with a kick-ass flash game and damn catchy tune. So in the spirit of being six months too late to the party we've created our own version of the infamous Jason mall scene with a hockey mask-wearing homicidal twist.

We love the RTS genre. We love the maps, the sound effects, the strategies, the buildings, the units, and if you’ve been following GamesRadar for a while, you know that we also love remembering things. What better time than now, just after the release of StarCraft II, to remember our favorite RTS units?

Let's face facts: iPhone gaming is at its best when you're not depending upon imaginary control sticks and buttons being drawn onto the screen. And if Rogue Planet is any indication, iPhone is at its very, very best when it's being used to play a gridded, turn-based strategy game in the vein of Advance Wars, but with a sci-fi art style cribbed from Mass Effect and a plot that borrows a bit from Battlestar Galactica and Terminator. That enough hardcore gamer references for ya?
