Window to WoW, week five

We say no to time sinks and reflect on The Burning Crusade's impact on end game

We’re tired of professions that are impossible to level up because the Auction House is constantly in a state of inflation. We’re tired of running five to six five-mans a night and never seeing a single piece of useable gear drop, tired of seeing players who aren’t attuned to Onyxia in better gear because of luck, tired of seeing good friends and great players leave the game out of frustration, tired of guilds that were the pillars of the end game disband and disappear, tired of a game that seems to cater to the selfish and emotionally immature.

Above: Blizzard’s brutal new end game makes us want to /sleep.

But there’s still hope. Blizzard needs to offer us something to look forward to besides rep grinds. They need to adjust their loot tables, and create content that will encourage guilds to rebuild. We hope this happens soon, because if they don’t, there’s no telling how much longer the WoW community will wait.

Next week: The attunement mind boggle. What you’ll need to reach to the end game (and yes, you have to do the Black Morass). In the meantime, feed your head and catch up on our previous editions of [Window to WoW ].
