The latest World in Conflict trailer puts us on Red alert

The flurry continues. We've already seen pants-wettingly good trailers of World in Conflict's background and a healthy dose of in-game action. Now we're been given a thorough tutorial in its cinematic majesty.

In fact, Conflict sees the Reds bastardising American soil with an aplomb we haven't seen since Command and Conquer: Red Alert back in 1996. If the trailer tells you one thing - other than that extra time spent on graphics was well worth the effort - is that this is no cakewalk to showcase the US military's superiority. With the kind of build up of hazy tragedy that wouldn't be out of place in Saving Private Ryan, we anticipate you'll be on the back foot from the word “go,” and in for one hell of a fight.
