Gaming Dead writes: Blizzard has rolled out a new update for Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, available now for download via The Patches Scrolls. The v1.25b patch adds balance changes for humans, night elves, orcs, and items, as well as add a few fixes to the game.
Warcraft III patch 1.25 is now available on the PTR. If youd like to help us test out this patch and provide feedback, open up the game client and select the Westfall (ClassicBeta) gateway to begin downloading the latest patch. Once the download is complete, restart the game, log into Westfall, and youre set. (To resume playing on live servers, simply select your regular gateway and you will be reverted to the retail version of the game.)

Happy 4/20! Yesterday, Blizzard Entertainment dropped the ban hammer on over 320,000 Warcraft III and Diablo II accounts that were found to be violating the Battle.net terms of use. The CD keys associated with the banned accounts will be suspended for 30 days, if the user was found to be a first time offender. But repeat offenders will have their CD keys banned permanently.
