We can't speak as to whether the inhabitants of the continent of Telon celebrate Christmas, but they sure are in a gift-giving mood this holiday season. Just in time to make a snappy present, they (with the help of Sony Online Entertainment and Sigil Games Online) have bestowed brand new screenshots of the environments from their upcoming MMORPG, Vanguard: Saga of Heroes.

After you've fully customized your character's race and class, there'll be no shortage of space in which to navigate. We're given a look at the some of the gorgeous terrain, such as a bustling bay and some magical ruins, and other such places within the island chain of Kojan. Vanguard's enormous landscapes are said to be directly inspired by classical fantasy artwork, and there'll be plenty of it to traverse, either by land, sea or air.
