Two Worlds

Shape the world and slash the orcs

Weapons and magic are upgradeable, too. In Two Worlds, you can take those two crappy, level-one swords and magically smoosh them into a shiny new sword with enhanced slaughtering abilities. The same goes for the five schools of magic. You combine various magic cards to create higher level spells and then pimp them out with booster cards. It’s the magical equivalent to putting spinners on a Honda.

All urbanisms aside, Two Worlds’ release date has been pushed back until this spring. The developer needs extra time to get the Xbox 360 version together for a simultaneous launch with the PC. A multiplayer option for up to eight adventurers should be ready to go, as well. But it'll be a while before Xbox and PC players can team up for some cross platform love.

And online players will have numerous opportunities to make poo-poo jokes using the game's alchemy system. Players make their own potions and register the name online. And not just for you and your buddies. Everyone and anyone playing the game on those vast interwebs. Personally, we can’t wait to power up with "essence of diarrhea." Guffaw, snort.
