Imagine this: you're playing one of Splinter Cell Conviction's many "choose your own torture" sequences, as described by Ubisoft's Jeffrey Dickstein. As you're slamming a terrorist's face into a urinal, you might ask yourself, "is this the new Degree deodorant I should buy?" (Seriously, these are his words.)

A brief video showed the goggles in use, though Sam was still in civilian garb. The goggles enabled a black and white vision mode that allowed Sam to see through walls, with enemies glowing bright white.

Did Ubisoft deliberately leave the ending location un-blurred or is this a genuine error on their part? Perhaps they didn't expect eagle eyed gamers to dissect their video with such an inquisitive eye? Minor spoilers ahead.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell novel gets back again with a new title , called " Conviction " which is the same title the next game is using . The author is David Michaels - pseudonym , the real name of the author is Grant Blackwood - who wrote the two previous novels " Checkmate and Fallout " which released in 2006 , 2007 . It's the first time the novel uses the title which the game uses , and it seems that the events will be as same as the game's events which will release in the same month . The strange thing is that the author will release another novel , called " Endgame " in November 24 , 2009 which also was listed in Amazon website , and it seems that it will be a " completion " of Conviction story and the end of the story of splinter cell which maybe also an indication for the end of the story of the game series . Nothing is confirmed about the Game's story , but just speculations .

"Have no fear at all," Parizeau told Joystiq during a one-on-one interview during E3 2009. "It's an added tool that lets you do the first step when storming a room or area or a situation. But you'll have all the tools that you used to use as well."
During a private demonstration at E3 2009 this evening, Splinter Cell Conviction associate producer Jean-Francois Poirer confirmed to Primotech that the newest entry in the series will have a multiplayer component. Poirer was not able to confirm any further details on what that might entail.
