Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter

This incredible emergent shooter wows us in multiplayer

You'll build up tactical points for taking zones and getting kills, and can spend these points spawning on a frontline zone, instead of way back at your home zone (that's free). You'll also be able to spawn on your squad leader by cashing in tactical points.

The 16-vs-16 format means that there'll be four squad leaders, with squads of four team members each, just like the core game. The five multiplayer levels are completely new, built from the ground up for team-vs-team combat. Despite sizes that ranged from claustrophobic to enormous, when a zone changed hands, we saw it onscreen and knew just where to bring the fight.

The three modes of GRAW - single-player, multiplayer and co-op - are big enough chunks of content to be entire games themselves. Start forming your squads now, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter drops in on May 2.
