Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2

First full GRAW 2 trailer

CG trailer unleashes hell in Mexico

Like his line of books, Tom Clancy pimps a new game once or twice a year. That's why it comes as no surprise that Ubisoft Paris and Red Storm Studios are bringing us the first full CG trailer for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2, the sequel to this year's popular infantry-warfare shooter, and we are damn excited. Just click on the Movies tab and scope out the video titled, “Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 -  trailer 12-18-06.”

Set in the year 2014, a blistering civil war between Mexican loyalists and rebel forces escalates and places the United States into immediate danger. Not looking for a repeat of the Alamo, Uncle Sam sends the Ghosts to fend off the threat on U.S. soil and help neutralize the escalating tensions.

But what you're really interested in are the new goodies such as a deadlier arsenal of weapons and the new CrossCom2.0, allowing you and fellow Ghosts to share camera views of enemies in your visor. Future tech is a hell of a lot more helpful compared to today's archaic weaponry.

Keep in mind that the new trailer is fully CG, so no crying foul about the lack of in-game footage being used, although the sequel should look pretty damn good if the last game was any indication. And while you're at it, blast on over to the Images tab and check out our new sun-baked screens. GRAW 2 should hit stores in Spring 2007, so until then you can brush up your team-leaader skills on the original GRAW, before you can flank, ambush and unleash hell.
