Valve has always been known to be one of the top developers in the PC arena. In fact, their only real competitor is Blizzard and both developers make such different games that it really isn't a competition. Well, in the latest issue of Game Informer, Valve revealed statistics of their game sales in the past decade that show why they are the industry leaders.
Classic Canadian comic troupe Kids in the Hall clearly think Portal is the funniest thing in the world. It doesn't look like they make it too far into the game, but if they react like this to the first box-on-a-button puzzle, I can only imagine how crazy they would go for the actual game.

The official website for the Pyro update has come online, and it contains all the information you need to prepare yourself for tomorrow's baptism of fire. Names and descriptions of the other two unlockable weapons (accompanying the Axtinguisher), the Flare Gun and the Backburner, all 35 of the new achievements, and the two community maps to be included in the update, cp_fastlane and ctf_turbine, have all been divulged.
Though the official details aren't slated to arrive until tomorrow, the latest Team Fortress 2 character vignette contains a brief glimpse of Pyro's second unlockable weapon.
The Pyro class is next in line to receive an Achievement and unlockables upgrade in Team Fortress 2, Valve has confirmed.

EA has just told videogaming247 that there are currently no release plans for the the separate elements of the Orange Box at UK retail.
Valve has confirmed to Joystiq that the individually boxed Orange Box PC games are due to hit physical shelves on April 9th. The separate SKUs, which will be available worldwide, consist of first-person puzzler Portal, caricatured multiplayer romp Team Fortress 2, and a crowbar double-whammy in the form of Half-Life 2: Episode One and Two. Valve has yet to officially announce pricing details, but retailers currently list Portal at $19.99 and the other two packages at $29.99 each.
