Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Shivering Isles

Bethesda: 'no plans to do anything other than RPGs'

Role-playing titan sticks to what it does best

There's good news for fans of stat-counting and rat-slashing today, as Oblivion developer Bethesda has said it has no plans to leave its much-loved role-playing genre any time soon.

"I can tell you that right now there are no plans internally for us to do anything other than role-playing," Bethesda's vice president of PR Pete Hines told Edge magazine.

In addition to working on the Oblivion expansion, Shivering Isles, the developer has a third installment of the much-loved FallOut series lurking in the background. No dating sims though, apparently.
