Oblivion: Game of the Year edition announced
Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine in one big box of RPG love, out September
Words: Stuart Bishop, CVG UK
Bethesda's fantasy RPG The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is to be released in Game of the Year edition form in September.
The edition, which will release for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, contains the original game, first full expansion Shivering Isles and download content Knights of the Nine.
Oblivion impressed us with its epic, free-form gameplay and gorgeous fantasy world. Fans were treated to another 30 hours or so of new adventuring when Shivering Isles arrived, while Knights of the Nine introduced a new faction and quests.
Oblivion won the UK's Ultimate Game of the Year award at last year's Golden Joystick ceremony.
