Updates to Team Fortress 2 and Day of Defeat: Source have been released.
The game's creators, having officially flipped the 2.0 switch, feel Gang Garrison 2 "is now stable enough to start telling the world about it." So what has changed? Well, according to the staff, the nine fully functional classes - Runner, Rocketman, Firebug, Detonator, Overweight, Constructor, Rifleman, Healer and Infiltrator - have new sprites!

Over at the Team Fortress 2 blog Valve's Robin Walker posted an update regarding the next round of content additions and tweaks. Adjustments to the Scout class are essentially finished at this point, says Walker, and work on the next update is underway.

It's not 2009 yet, but Valve is back to updating TF2. Today they launched a new patch adding some offensively oriented new features. In the official blog post, Valve's Robin Walker also comments on future updates.
Destructoid writes: "Recently Valve announced that the Xbox 360 version of Team Fortress 2 (packaged in the Orange Box collection) is receiving a "massive" update that will "include pretty much everything" that Valve has "shipped on the PC in the last year."
