PC - Sword of the Stars - Sword of the Stars Ultimate Collection Coming in June In the Sword of the Stars Ultimate Collection, players can take control of six different species in a fight for galactic domination. Humans and alien creatures such as Hivers, Liirs, Tarkas, Zuuls and Morrigis each possess a unique mode of transport enabling players to move between star systems at varying speeds and in different spaceships. For example, humans can fly quickly between stars using special space lines while the hivers rely on building interdimensional gateways for direct travel to different galaxies.

PC - Sword of the Stars - Sword of the Stars: Born of Blood Patch 1.5.2 Released Lighthouse Interactive has released the latest patch for Sword of the Stars: Born of Blood, which updates the game to version 1.5.2. Update 1.5.2 allows current owners of Born of Blood to play on custom maps created by others, and engage in multiplayer action with those who are playing the recently released version included in Sword of the Stars: Collector's Edition. The Update however does not contain many of the robust features that are exclusive to the Collector's Edition, such as the ability to share custom maps or create stand-alone servers.

PC - Sword of the Stars - Sword of the Stars Collectors Edition Announced Lighthouse Interactive has announced plans to release a special collector's edition of Sword of the Stars, the PC space strategy game from developer Kerberos Productions. The collection will contain the original game, the expansion pack Born of Blood, and some extra items including "the first ever Sword of the Stars novella The Deacon's Tale by renowned science fiction writer Arrin Dembo and a bonus CD with concept art, screenshots, trailers, CD tracks and other media." The game will ship to stores on March 25.
