Square Enix Ltd. has today announced Supreme Commander 2, created by critically-acclaimed developer Gas Powered Games, will be available on the Xbox 360 and PC-DVD in Spring 2010. Supreme Commander 2 is the next installment in the award-winning Supreme Commander franchise, set twenty-five years further into the future.

Taylor "felt bad" for SupCom console dev, just didn't have the time (News)

Total Annihilation man Chris Taylor has revealed his sorrow for Hellbent Games, the console developer for Gas Powered Games' Supreme Commander.

The whole thing was "a hair on fire mission," and something they want to avoid with Supreme Commander 2. The sequel will head to consoles, but GPG will handle it themselves.
