Having released over twenty games since Spring 2005 for PC, Xbox 360, and Wii, Telltale's most recent project, Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures, is releasing monthly on PC and coming soon to XboxLIVE! Telltale has announced that WiiWare sales of Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, the first monthly episodic series on a console, have more than doubled since Nintendo's new storage solution was unveiled at the Game Developer's Conference in March. The Strong Bad series began releasing episodically on WiiWare in August 2008.

In an interesting mirror of the 5th and final episode of Strong Bad's Cool Games for Attractive People: 8-Bit is Enough, where Trogdor has escaped from his videogame cabinet and is terrorizing Free Town, USA, Videlectrix (the fictional viedeogame creator responsible for the 8-bit titles Strong Bad has so enjoyed over the years) has broken out of the Homestar universe and is introducing games into the real world. Videlectrix has sent out a press release about their new 'roomisodic' gaming model, with Roomisode 1: Behind the Dangerdesque available now.

Gamasutra writes: "Telltale Games' CEO and co-founder Dan Connors says his company's found the key to maintaining consumer engagement over time -- "be there when we say we're going to be there."

Telltale earned its reputation by aiming to bring what it calls a "TV-style" format to games by delivering episodic titles to Internet portals as well as consoles.

Speaking at the GC Developers Conference in Leipzig, however, Connors says the mandate to "be there" becomes more challenging now that the company's moving on to consoles, most recently with Strong Bad Episode 1: Homestar Ruiner on WiiWare.

During Telltale's presentation, a slide lists Xbox Live Arcade as one of the developer's distribution channels -- 'though we're not exactly on Xbox Live Arcade yet, so if you're in the press, don't write that down.'"
