Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Hints
The Jedi Code
When you start your training on Dantooine, you will be asked to answer the jedi code. I figured it out just by guessing, so i'll tell you the code.

There is no emotion, there is peace
There is no ignorance, there is knowledge
There is no passion, there is serenity
There is no chaos, there is harmony
There is no death, there is the force.

Unlimited Money (Dark Side)
Entry Location:
Sith Academy, Korriban

When your character gets to Korriban, head to the Sith academy, outside the tombs (where the archeologists are) and be sure to take Juhani with you. There is a character off to the left in the Valley of the Dark Lords named Dak Vesser.

Ask him who he is and Juhani will recognize him as a lost Jedi lover. Dak is bitter and will leave and be in the cantina. Go there and talk with him WITHOUT Juhani. You will be able to tell him that you are going to kill him and you will fight. After you kill him, collect his remains, including 150 credits and a lightsaber crystal.

Now go out of the cantina and take a left to the valley where the entrance to the Sith Academy is, and turn right back around and go into the cantina again. Dak should be alive (as long as Juhani is not with you), so you can talk to him and kill him over and over again! The lightsaber crystals you get from Dak are worth nearly 2000 credits each on Yavin 4. You also receive a lot of Dark Side points if you opt to do this.

Easy Sith Uniform
Entry Location:
upper city north apartment/upper cantina

Instead of blasting the Sith soldiers for the uniform, talk to a girl named Sarna in the upper Cantina, if you act nice and understanding, she will invite you to a party in the Upper City North. Once you go in they will fall to the floor drunk. After that, open a bag and you will receive a sith uniform!

Easy way to Kill Bendak Starkiller

An easy way to kill bendak starkiller is to use plasma grenades. you can find plasma grenades in the Vulkar base. it took me 4 or 5 of of them but trust me, any other way is almost impossible!

Good lightsaber crystal combinations
Bondar with damind, upari, krayt dragon pearl, or solari
nextor with opila
luxum with firkrann (perfect against droids)
phond with sigil
sapith with upari

Equipping NPCs
Equipping Guide: Bastila
Since she can't wear armor at first, you should find a Jedi robe for her as soon as you can. It's a good idea to let her keep her double bladed lightsaber the entire game. As with all lightsabers, this is upgradeable; a good choice is to affix a bondar crystal to her weapon; 10 percent of the time you hit, your enemy makes a low difficulty check save to avoid being stunned for six seconds. This happens relatively often. Remember that all crystals you collect should be shared among the more melee-specific Jedi (Bastila, Juhani, optionally your own character, but not Jolee because he is less of a melee specialist). Also try a damind crystal for Bastila, which gives an excellent increase in damage and attack bonus.
Bastila's face should be covered by a mask of some kind, such as the Verpine headband (this increases her will saving throws). The ultimate headgear is the circlet of Saresh (+5 wisdom against Force powers), and despite being a unique item, it serves bastila well. Place any gauntlet on Bastila that helps her dexterity (thus allowing her to dodge attacks). Belts should help her fortitude; try the cardio-regulator, and later into your adventure, fix her with the adrenaline stimulator (+2 dexterity, +4 all saving throws). Finally, tie shields around her arm slots, as with any other character.
Equipping Guide: Zaalbar
Zaalbar can't wear body armor, so equip him with Brejik's arm band and belt for a +5 resistance to physical damage, and one of the better forearm shields. Concentrate on his melee fighting: Zaalbars weapons should commence with the prototype vibrosword you find on the Endar Spire; it's only slightly better than a regular vibrosword but is upgradeable. When you reach Kashyyyk, seek out Bacca's Ceremonial blade (upgradeable). The best melee weapon for him is Yusani's brand; this is double-bladed, so you get two attacks per round.
Equipping Guide: Carth
Carth starts with his own weapon (Carth's blaster); it's a good starting weapon that becomes more impressive the further you upgrade it. Do not replace this weapon, as it can be made into one of the finest around. Place a second pistol in his other hand; the natural choice is Bendak Staarkiller's Pistol, which is also upgradeable. Carth can wear any armor, but keeping away from melee combat means he doesn't rely completely on movement; try putting him in Mandalorian battle armor.
Carth starts with reasonable dexterity, so don't fit him with armor thats so heavy it negates his dexterity modifier. Instead, put him in Davik's warsuit, or, for a cool look, the Echani battle armor. A great armor find early in the game is the Republic mod armor-and this too is upgradeable. Carth has no access to implants unless you're willing to gain the necessary feats, so concentrate on his regular equipment. Fit him with belts that help his will save bonus, or those that are immune to mind affecting. Choose headgear with will save bonuses and gauntlets with a dexterity bonus.

Easy Level-Up Cheat
First find a computer panel that has a command that allows you to access it and says "(0 spikes needed)." IT MUST HAVE THIS! An example of where you can find this is in the Sith Academy, in the dueling area (access data archive). NOTE: You may need to have a decent computer skill (I recommend T3-M4). Now keep hacking it until you cant pick up your hand and then log off. You'll find that there will be a MASSIVE amount of XP points granted. Make sure you find the right type of computer. Like I said before, I recommend the one in the dueling room in the Sith Academy. You can level-up to level 20 but there's nothing after that, so select your powers and feats and skills wisely.

GenoHaradan Assassin Guild
After you defeat Calo Nord, a Twi'lek named Senni Vak approaches you near the Ebon Hawk and gives you a datapad that he said you dropped (you didn't drop anything, but take the datapad anyway). The datapad has instructions to meet a Rodian named Hulas on Manaan (in East Central Ahto) alone. If you approach Hulas with party members active, he acts like he doesn't know what you're talking about. If you approach him by yourself, he offers to make you a member of the GenoHaradan Assassin Guild if you carry out a few missions for him.
The first two are easy: A Rodian named Lorgal in the republic embassy (on Manaan), and a Grann slaver named Zuulan Sentar at the Matale Estate (Dantooine). You only need to kill one of the two in order to advance to the remaining quests, but you can kill both if you want an extra reward.
When you return to Hulas, he gives you three more targets: a Gamorrean named Vorn Daasrad (find his droid in the Sand People Territory on Tatooine), a Selkath named Ithoriak Guldar (talk to his servant Vek in the Manaan swoop lounge), and a shape-shifter named Rulaan Prolik in the Upper Shadowlands (find a Wookiee corpse with a datapad mentioning the "faceless one," then find a wookiee impersonating the one whose corpse you found).
When you've killed all three targets, return to Hulas and discover that he's double-crossed you. If you wish, you can challenge him to a duel; he askes you to show up alone at the Dune Sea. Hulas will bring a squad of assassins to the duel, however, so bring your own party members if you hope to prevail (they're still pretty easy to beat alone).

Star Map Quiz
On the planet Kashyyyk Speak to the holocron computer in the southwest corner of the lower shadowlands, which has abundant information on the history of kashyyyk. If you'vealready visited leviathan, your immediately given the star map.Otherwise, you have to answer a series of questions. The holocron is progarmmed to act like a sith,so your answers must be those of the dark side. here's how to answer each question:(Dark side points gained)
1:I'm unsure what zaalbar would say.I would accuse him to be safe.
2:I prepare my forces to attack in ten days.I do nothing in the city.
3:That's right. The death of those people would spur my forces on.
4:I let the attack happen.
To get a light side conclusion to this puzzle, answer the questions incorrectly and fight off the two droids that the computer sics on you.

Another Easy Way to the Dark Side
When you get to Dantooine, speak to the Jedi Council. Then Mr. Matale will show up. He asks the council to investigate his son Shen's kidnapping. The council asks you to investigate. Find Cassus's datapad.Cassus is Mr. Sandral's son who also went missing. Mr. Sandral blames Mr. Matale for his son's kidnapping. After you do all that stuff, go see Mr. Matale's droid and ask for him, but do not break into Mr. Sandral's estate yet!!! As I was saying, go see Mr. Matale's droid and ask for him and he offers you 1000 credits to find his son. Ask for 2000 and then he refuses. Then say goodbye. You will gain a dark side point. Talk to his droid again and ask for Mr. Sandral. Do it again and again for dark side points.

Beat Twin Terentaks On Sith Planet
When you first enter the room at the tomb (final test) the twin Terentaks are to your left. turn to face them. there is a switch behind the one on the right. throw a grenade or get them to chase you to to the other side of the room where they were not. Then run to the switch. Pull it. then turn to the right and run through the doors. The twin Terentaks can't get to you in the room. Switch weapons to a gun and shoot from inside the room and that's the easiest way to beat them without codes.

How to skip Korriban and go straight to The Leviathan
If you follow the game in this order you can skip Korriban and go straight to The Leviathan : After getting off Taris and becoming a Padewon you embark on your journey from planet to planet in search of the star fordge....well if you go to 1.)Kashyyyk first then 2.)Tatooine and then travel to 3.)Manaan...after finishing all your desired quests on Manaan go to Korriban. Shortly after leaving Manaan you encounter The Leviathan and it captures your ship.

Submitted By: SOOK

Easy way through the beginning of the Leviathan
After you complete Tatooine, Kashyyk, and Manaan, you will be captured by Saul Karath in the Leviathan. You have the choice of leaving one character behind to escape the cruiser. The easiest character to do this with is Jolee. They lock him up with only one gaurd, so he can use his mind domination on him. After you trick the gaurd into locking himself up, go straight across the block and talk to the Rodian. He will give you a computer-slicing machine if you get him out, which is needed if you haven't developed Jolee's computer skill. Go down the hall and get the weapons out of the lockers, being careful not to alert the Sith patrol. Then equip the weapons and kill him. Go back to the Rodian's cell and break down the force field. He will give you the Icebreaker and run away. Now go down the hall where you killed the patrolman and enter the first door on the left. Kill the 2 technicians and use the Icebreaker on the terminal(it can only be used once, so dont worry about wasting spikes). Make the computer release the group of Rodians from the other cell. The Sith in the barracks will rush out to kill them, at which time you should initiate the riot protocol and kill them all. From this point on it is mostly cut and dry- rescue the others and make your way through the ship.

Destroy Kolto Equipment
On the planet Manaan you have to defeat the giant shark to find the star map. You can do this one of 2 ways. The easy way is to use the poison and kill the shark but by doing this you will be banned from the planet for the remainder of the game. The other way is to destroy the kolto extracting equipment so the shark will let you pass unharmed.
*Remember the injector holds 3 million and the container holds 5 million but you need to get 4 million into the container to get it to overload.* This is how.
Fill the injector.
Transfer injector to container.
Fill injector
Transfer injector to container.
(this will leave 1 million behind in the injector)
Dump the container
Transfer injector to container.
Fill injector
Transfer injector to container.
The container will now overload and blow up. Allowing you to get the star map with ease.

VERY easy way to defeat rancor
Lying in front of the door to the Rancor's nest in the sewers is a dismembered arm. You can search it and pick up three "Odor Synthesizers." Pick them up. Now enter the door. The Rancor will be at the far left end with its back toward you. It will not spot you unless you near it. There is a pile of bodies nearby that you can search. Search it once and take what you find. Search it a second time and this time press X to activate the "Give" menu. Give a grenade. I just used one frag grenade, but a poison or ion grenade might work, too. Next, search it a third time, do not take the frag grenade, press X to activate the "Give" menu, and give one of the "Odor Synthesizers." You will be rewarded with a short cutscene and the Rancor will be dead. If it does not work the first time, you can give it another shot, since you have three "odor synthesizers."

This is the correct order for shut down:

7. Creative

Answers to get the first star map on Dantooine
When you enter the ancient tombs that you are sent to investigate, on Dantooine, you walk forward until you get to a ancient droid which you talk to. This droid will tell you that you have to do two test to prove yourself. Go to the door to the right of the droid and there will be another droid which you have to kill. When you finally get to the computer and it asks you the questions the correct answers are: 1.VOLCANIC, 2.DESERT, 3.BEREN. Nothing will happen right away because you have only done one test. Go back into the room with the ancient droid that you talked to earlier and go past him into the room to his left. There will be another droid which you kill and then when the ancient computer starts asking you the questions again here are the answers:1.OCEANIC, 2.GRASSLAND, 3.DESERT. When you have completed both test the door that is behind the anceint droid will open allowing you to get the star maps information.

Uthars Mask
In Order to do this you must have a character with a very high security level. (Preferably T3-M4). Head into the Sith Academy On Korriban and down into the area where your room is and find Master Uthars Chambers. Pick the lock and there will be a footlocker to the right. open it and you will have the mask. This mask is good because it resists a lot of force power moves and increases dark side points when you earn them!

Easy 300 points at start
Alright, Right when you get to the area near the end of the first level,(Ender Spire) click the foot locker in the room with the computer, and the droid. take the computer and droid parts. Now, quickly manage the droid so it will patrol, you have four seconds to spare...get to the computer as fast as you can, and use te computer parts to slice through the system. The electricity will kill the rest of the Sith. You will recieve 150 exp for reactivating the droid, and 150 for reactivating the security pannel.
Also, if you care about credits more than exp in the beginning, i sugget you just reactivate the droid. so you can sell your 7 computer spikes. this will add 700 dollars once you have sold them.
