[PC] Will Wright reckons second half of 2007

Will Wright has revealed that he hopes his hugely ambitious life sim, Spore, will be released for PC in the second half of 2007.

While it's hardly a date you can put in your diary, it does shows that Wright is confident of the game coming out within the next 12 months which is great news for the many gamers awaiting its release.

Spore is a life sim that attempts to recreate the complete development of creatures from cellular stage, evolving all the way to creating their own civilisations and eventually ending with space exploration.

Sims creator Wright also stated, during his interview with US website Newsweek, that Spore will hopefully reach a playable alpha stage by spring next year.
