We've seen in-game shots from Frogster's Speedball 2 remake before, but the latest batch is by far the best – click on the Images tab and see for yourself.

Frogster says work on the player models (shown in the screenshots) has made significant progress and that Kylotonn, which is actually developing the game under the watchful eye of The Bitmap Brothers' Mike Montgomery, "spends up to 400,000 polygons at the same time for a full 3D arena and all present characters."
