Sins of a Solar Empire expansion in the pipe

Well-received space strategy game will get new factions and a fresh campaign mode

A first expansion for PC space strategy game Sins of a Solar Empire is in the pipeline.

According to Wired, president and CEO of Stardock - the game's publisher - Brad Wardell let slip that the expansion will appear in the reasonably near future.

He went on to divulge that a "full on campaign" will feature in the expansion, along with new playable factions.

“With most RTS games shifting towards fast action at the expense of real strategy, it would be an unforgivable sin for a strategy fan to pass by this game on the shelf and not pick it up,” said PC Gamer’s Dan Stapleton in our review.
