Shadowrun, the absolutely inspired first person shooter that combines contemporary weapons, magic and advanced technology has gone gold. The first cross platform PC-360 FPS will be hitting retailers on May 29th.
Daking240.com says that even those of you who did not get into the Shadowrun beta test, do not fear. According to Darking, there will be a demo of the game available soon, before the fast approacing release date even.
Microsoft executive Shane Kim has commented on mixed buzz over the firm's Shadowrun being an FPS, admitting that "we showed the title prematurely at E3", but that the firm is "working hard" to reverse that with a Beta and press tours.

Writing on Shadowrun's official forums, FASA's Lead Program Manager, "Kimona," confirms the game will not feature split-screen play. "We wanted to do it and had a good deal of the work done for it already. But there was a lot of UI and testing work remaining. We decided to focus on making what we have even more polished and clean."
