Telltale announces Sam & Max finale

Bright Side of the Moon to conclude first season in Telltale's episodic adventure series

Bright Side of the Moon has been revealed as the final episode in season one of Telltale's Sam & Max adventure revival. It'll debut on GameTap on April 26, and then be made available worldwide on May 10.

Telltale says of Bright Side of the Moon's plot, "What started out as a local mind-control scheme has grown to global proportions, with links to the media, the mafia, the U.S. government and the world wide web. Now it's up to canine shamus Sam and his mildly psychotic rabbity-thing sidekick Max to storm a bizarre lunar paradise and confront the mastermind behind the plot. But will they be able to deliver the unassuming world populace from the jaws of tranquility and prevent an eternity of hypnotic enslavement?"

Dan Connors, CEO at Telltale, says that the finale stands on its own as a game, "but it's going to be especially satisfying for the players who have been with us all season long."
