German developer Ascaron had recently closed its doors. Their latest game Sacred 2: Fallen Angel will be taken on by Deep Silver and Koch Media. While the new PC add-on Ice & Blood comes out in August, Ascaron/Deep Silver/Koch Media were quiet about the console release. Now it's known that the expansion is still planned. The add-on Ice & Blood is scheduled for December 09/January 10 for PS3 and Xbox360.

Co-Optimus writes - A little known feature of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel on the PC is the ability to integrate with Dell's LightFX keyboard lighting system. The LightFX system backlit Dell's now defunct XPS laptop line with numerous colors, while the LightFX SDK allowed developers to control these based on what was happening in the game. The problem is, it isn't working properly.
Ascaron has announced the add-on Ice & Blood for Sacred 2 - Fallen Angel. According to PCGH the add-on will introduce a new character (Dragonmage) and deliver new features as well as two new areas.
