Risen has some really nice landscape and dungeon areas where the underlying engine may shine with atmospheric pictures. PCGH assembled some of them showing the beauty of the RPG.
All stone and wall textures were edited. All stairways, walls, floors, altars, ruins, stones, rocks and mountains got new textures with more details and were put in a high-resolution format, so they won't get blurry if you approach them.

Risen Hotfix 1.01 is out. It fixes the problems with Geforce 6 and Geforce 7 cards showing a foggy overlay when playing Risen.
