Return to Castle Wolfenstein

Best issue of OXM on sale

See undead Nazis, amazing 360 mods, and the highest-scoring XBLA game of all time

Mark your calendars, because March 10, 2009 will go down in history as the day that the best issue of the Official Xbox Magazine hit newsstands. That’s right. Next to money, OXM’s April, 2009 issue will be the most valuable thing that’s been printed on paper. Ever.

Okay, so we’re exaggerating… a little. But that’s just because our friends at OXM have put together an exceptionally excellent issue. Pick it up for their exclusive hands-on preview of the next Wolfenstein game - and learn how to kill the most evil and racist bad guys of all time: undead Nazis. Also, meet Ben Heckendorn and see his amazing hardware mods, which range from a one-handed controller (made for a soldier wounded in Iraq) to his amazing homemade Bill Paxton pinball machine. And be sure to check out the review of OXM’s highest-scoring XBLA game of all time, and find out what their editors think about Fight Night Round 4, Terminator Salvation, and Singularity.

WARNING: OXM’s latest issue is highly flammable and full of fun facts

I need to get this. Never played a Wolfenstein title, and not heard much about it, but the screenshots look sick.

Return To Castle Wolfenstein for the PS2 was pretty much the most badass game ever.

This really was a damn good issue. That I read like weeks ago but okay.

Wolfenstein games were always a fun title for me, even being hard, it succeeds at creating a creepy setup with all freak enemies to kill.

I'm subscribed but I think my subscription might have run out. I might actually need to buy this.

A great issue indeed! Just got mine this week, though I have only played one Wolfenstein game.

Is fight night round 3 still their highest rated game

I thought that was pretty lame

The last issue I got was on Brutal Legend. My issues come late every time.

And the only thing I've ever disagreed with OXM was when they said Mass Effect was the best game for the 360 of all time. It was great, but not the best.

I played the original version of Return to Castle Wolfenstein on PC. Was awesome; cannot wait for sequel!

(In response to Pyro40) I have that same problem, getting my issue of OXM late. I use to get it within the first 5 days of each month but now I don't. Also, the only thing I disagreed with OXM about was when they gave Deadspace a 6.5; it was easily atleast an 8.0 but thats just my opinion.

"Is fight night round 3 still their highest rated game?"

-FN:R3 was their 1st highest rated. They rated Gears1, MassEffect, Bioshock, & none other than Halo 3 perfect scores too.

"I played the original version of Return to Castle Wolfenstein on PC. Was awesome; cannot wait for sequel!"

-That was my first WWII shooter I ever played and boy what an experience. I was addicted to the multiplayer for a long time. People still play that multiplayer on PC.

Might just get this magazine, looks interesting. $10 dollars a mag is harsh though.
