Rayman returns

The limbless wonder is heading for a next-gen action outing

Thursday 6 April 2006
Publisher Ubisoft has announced that it will release Rayman 4 this Christmas for next-gen and current-gen machines. Michel Ancel, superstar creator of platforming hero Rayman and the excellent Beyond Good & Evil, will spearhead the development of the latest game in the cartoon action series.

Ubisoft expects the new Rayman "to sweep players off their feet," an ambitious leap for the decade-spanning Rayman series. But with Ancel at the creative wheel, we're hoping Rayman can make the most of the next-gen machines, without being thwarted by hitting older, less tech-heavy consoles at the same time.
