Prey

Grab your war paint and Dramamine for one hell of a fight

The enemy AI isn't all that bright, but at least it's unpredictable thanks to being able to stand on the ceiling. The single player campaign will last just eight or nine hours, thanks in part to how easy it is to revive yourself when you die. The real fun comes from multiplayer combat, where something totally unexpected happens every 10 seconds. It could have been much better if only there were more than two modes (deathmatch and team deathmatch) and a couple of maps small enough to play with less than five players, but Prey is still a major blast for shooter fans with strong stomachs.

You'll love
  • Playing with gravity
  • Portal madness
  • Multiprey mode rocks
You'll hate
  • Dumb enemy AI
  • Short single player campaign
  • Only two multiplayer modes
