German videogameblog Videospielkultur.de claims that they have an internal source at Acony who told them that the Free 2 Play-Shooter Parabellum will leave it's military setting and move towards a Theatre Game Show setting. They plan to move in the direction of Jack Ass and want to include some freaky moves like jumping and aiming with two pistols. After years of development it's still not clear when the game is going to be released, but it's not the first time the developers are changing the whole game.

WorldsinMotion: German-based developer Acony has integrated ProFX, Allegorithmic's procedural texturing middleware for real-time 3D content, into Parabellum, a free-to-play first-person shooter and massively multiplayer online game. Powered by Epic's Unreal Engine 3, Parabellum is scheduled to release for PC in the first quarter of 2009. Set in 2018, the game enables players to join two fictional covert reconnaissance organizations as they attempt to complete contract missions pitting them against each other.
