A Chinese government agency halted its approval process for hit online game World of Warcraft to operate in the country on Monday, deepening its struggle with another agency for power over China's online game sector.
The Left 4 Dead 2 demo is a great time, but the lack of versus mode play with the new infected is something of a disappointment. You won't have to wait until the game launches on the 15th, however; a clever chap out there has created a plug-in to allow you to play competitive games with the demo, and to try out the new special infected.

Associate Producer, Barry Tingle stated on the EA UK forums that a Battlefield 2142 patch is in the works, although a release date is unknown.
Despite being earlier approved by the Chinese ministry, the General Administration of Press and Publication has "suspended approval for NetEase.com Inc to operate Activision Blizzard's World of Warcraft online game, putting the future of the recently-launched and high-profile title in question in China."
This is not a simple patch made to fix minor bugs. It is a content pack, which means that new features will be added (of course that bug fixing won't be skipped).
