PC - Left 4 Dead - Left 4 Dead Lobby Browser Released Valve has released an update for it's survival shooter Left 4 Dead, now available for download. Of note is the addition of the Lobby Browser which gives players a customizable list of best available games, offering up both official and add-on campaigns to choose from.

PC - Left 4 Dead - Shaun Of The Dead Mod Still Coming BeefJack writes: "A Shaun Of The Dead inspired Mod for zombie game Left 4 Dead is still in the works, says its makers.

Left 4 Winchester is a Mod heavily inspired by the Simon Pegg staring movie, as both will lampoon zombie movies and games as much as possible. The project was thought to be dead as a previous update on the Mod's site said they had encountered some copy right issues and a map maker wasn't proving dedicated."

PC - Left 4 Dead - Left 4 Winchester Has Not Been Left For Dead The Shaun of the Dead-inspired Left 4 Dead mod known as Left 4 Winchester has apparently not been cancelled. The last update on the project website seems to hint at the project closing down as it cites copyright concerns and one mapper's lack of dedication as being the reason there have been so few updates as of late.

However, we contacted the project's leader who happily told us that "we are still hard at work on it." We hope to see some new media soon but until then we'll be content with enjoying Shaun of the Dead and Left 4 Dead separately.

PC - Left 4 Dead - Valve "Trying To Work Out" Cross-Game Play Between L4D1 & 2 TVG:

Valve's VP of Marketing, Doug Lombardi has revealed to TVG that the developer is looking at providing cross-game play between the original Left 4 Dead and its incoming sequel.

Such a feature, which would allow players of the original Left 4 Dead to play alongside other users running Left 4 Dead 2, is one of the demands made by the now 37,000 member strong Left 4 Dead 2 boycott group on Steam.

PC - Left 4 Dead - Valve: Someone's always going to complain Online criticism of Left 4 Dead 2 may have been unavoidable, according to Valve's Chet Faliszek.

"I once joked that we could put $20 in a box and charge $10 for it, and someone's going to complain," Faliszek told VideoGamer.com earlier this week. "And that's just fine - that's just the way it is."
