PC - Jumpgate: Evolution - GFI Signs Jumpgate Evolution Codemasters Online today announced an agreement with Game Factory Interactive for the publishing of Jumpgate Evolution in Russia, former USSR countries and the Baltic Region. The game will be fully localised for the Russian territories with Game Factory Interactive publishing and operating the game across the region. Jumpgate Evolution features a new rendering engine, engaging and responsive AI, as well as several new missions across multiple types including: combat, patrols, mining, and delivery. PC - Jumpgate: Evolution - Finally, Jumpgate Evolution announced with screenshots For the Jumpgate fans who've been waiting for the overhaul, here's some good news for you. NetDevil has finally released an official announcement about the revamped title, now to be known as Jumpgate Evolution.

The space MMO will be getting a makeover visually and content-wise. As you can probably see from the screenshots, NetDevil made good of its promise that the overhaul title Jumpgate Evolution will be prettier. And prettier it definitely is. Notice the Alpha Build 2007.06.19 stamped at the lower left hand corner of the screens? These alpha build images certainly show promise.

Eidos is viewing the success of its naval combat game Battlestations: Midway as reason to warrant a sequel, it's emerged. It was also reaffirmed in the report that a Just Cause sequel is in development. Eidos was unavailable for comment on either sequel at the time of writing, however the producer on Battlestations: Midway, Klaude Thomas, did hint at potential content for a follow-up when we talked to him at the end of last year.
