New details emerging from Valve's puzzle venture Portal have revealed that that the game's storyline is set in the Half-Life 2 world.
Valve Software has revealed it's now aiming for a Q1 2007 release for Half-Life 2: Episode Two, so sadly it will miss the originally expected late 2006 launch.
It may not receive the same amount of attention as Half-Life 2 or Halo 3, but 2K Games' Prey has been on our must have list ever since we spied it at E3 2005. This bad ass looking FPS is probably not going to do much to advance its genre, but it's got just about everything we could ask for; slimy and evil looking aliens, lots of cool weapons, eight person multiplayer (a weak number, but we'll take it), and a different type of main character. It just looks like a fun game, and while we can't vouch for its single player campaign, we did go a few rounds with its enjoyable multiplayer component.
Valve's confirmed that the Orange Box separates will release in the UK and rest of Europe, despite the fact EA had said previously there was "no confirmation" of plans to bring the games to the UK.
