Speaking at E3, Epic boss Mike Capps expressed dismay at the fact the PC version of Gears of War scored lower than the 360 game, saying the desktop outing was "much better" and the fact it achieved lower marks was "bulls***."
Len Wiseman, the chap behind vampire flick Underworld and Die Hard 4, is preparing to direct a movie based on Gears of War. The director will be teaming up with writer Chris Morgan to develop the story and rewrite a new screenplay, according to Variety. The title suggests that the game gets a new edition with the maps of the downloadable content included. Rumours are also moving that content from the PC version will be included. The success surrounding the popular Xbox 360/PC shooter Gears of War has led to the creation of a comic book based on the game's universe. It's officially been confirmed that DC Comics partnered with Epic Games to publish a Gears of War comic book series, which is "slated to debut from DC's WildStorm publishing imprint in October."
