PC News | The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Tuesday 27 June 2006 A clued-up computing student has created a modification for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion that enables two-player jaunts into the gigantic world of Cyrodiil. Unbelievable? Just head over to the mod's official site and you can download a video showing it in action. Right now, the mod is very basic. You and a friend can wander around together, with the other player represented by a non-player character (like the folk you see wandering around the cities). Eventually the ...

PC News | The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Bethesda has released a downloadable add-on for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, which adds barding - that's horse armour - to the game. Xbox 360 owners can purchase the download for 200 Microsoft points (or £1.50) from Xbox Live, but PC users will have trot over to Bethesda's official site, and shell out $1.50 (about 85p) for their upgrade. It's great to see the game is being supported, but £1.50 sounds a bit steep for a few bits of horse-bound metal. Still, you don't have to buy ...
