PC - Deus Ex 3 - Spector: Deus Ex creator Warren Spector's so keen to get his hands on Deus Ex 3 he wants Eidos to surreptitiously slip him pre-release versions.

"I hope they do it right and send me beta versions without telling anybody, and I won't tell anybody at Disney", Spector has told Edge magazine.

Now at Junction Point Studios, which is owned by Disney, Spector's previously said he's sure Eidos will do a great job with Deus Ex 3. However in the Edge interview he voiced concerns and called the IP a "very delicate thing".

PC - Deus Ex 3 - Has a massive Deus Ex 3 secret slipped out? A discrepancy between two versions of the official Deus Ex 3 teaser trailer could have let slip the biggest reveal to date on the sequel.

In one version of the trailer, a scene has had the date "2027" removed, while it remains in the same scene in a second version.

It's led to CVG speculating that the sequel actually acts as a prequel and could well be set prior to the original Deus Ex (which was set in the 2050s. Invisible War was set 20 years on from the first game).

PC - Deus Ex 3 - Deus Ex 3 to use Tomb Raider Legend game engine Studio head of Eidos Montreal says team will share tech with Crystal Dynamics as he discusses plans for franchise Eidos has big plans for the new installment in its esteemed Deus Ex franchise, and will be using the game engine from another of its next-gen revamps, Lara Croft Tomb Raider, to power the new game.

Technology is being shared between Tomb Raider team Crystal Dynamics and new studio Eidos Montreal to help give Deus Ex 3 a technical headstart, studio head Stephane D'Astous, who previously worked for Ubisoft Montreal, told Develop in an exclusive interview.
