PC - Duke Nukem Forever - 3D Realms: Duke Coming Along, E3 3D Realms chief Scott Miller tells Next-Gen that development on the long-awaited Duke Nukem Forever is moving right along, but he sees no reason to show it off at an "irrelevant" E3.

Asked about the progress on the years-in-development Duke Nukem Forever, Miller stated Friday in an e-mail, "Development is swimming along nicely. Seriously nicely."

PC - Duke Nukem Forever - E3 2008: Duke Nukem Forever not appearing at E3 Just as we expected, 3D Realms long-awaited first-person-shooter, Duke Nukem Forever, won't be making an appearance at this years E3.

I'm sure many of you would have been interested in seeing a bit more about this, but to be honest a lot of us are probably thinking that we'll never actually get to see this game.

- 12 years of development went towards interactive environments that their game engine was not mature enough to handle, so the code was rewritten resulting in a series of complications which produced further setbacks.

- Scott Miller says they've finally achieved their goal of creating a "super-interactive" game environment.

- Apparently Bombshell (which was one of the three stand-alone game projects 3DR was working on) is now integrated into DNF. Miller isn't quoted on the confirmation, but the article says she's part of the Duke universe as Duke's action-female counterpart.

PC - Duke Nukem Forever - 3D Realms Disputes 'Confirmed' Reports of Duke Nukem Forever 3D Realms has informed Shacknews that a release date and platforms for Duke Nukem Forever were not confirmed in its interview with the Dallas Business Journal. A more detailed response is expected later today.
Though 3D Realms has yet to announce a release date or platforms for Duke Nukem Forever, its denial of today's reports only indicate the company is not prepared to discuss those specifics at this time, not that the project has suffered a delay or setback.
