PC News | Dark Messiah of Might and Magic
Dark Messiah of Might & Magic, Ubisoft's crunchy first-person role-playing game, is launching a barrage of fantasy action this autumn and we've summoned a handful of new screens, showing some of the characters with whom you'll be trading words - and blows - during your adventure. The combat in Dark Messiah is brilliantly kinetic, with crucial strikes crumpling your enemy's body and plenty of ways to involve the environment in your killing sprees. And, when the enemies look this detailed, it's ...

PC News | Dark Messiah of Might and Magic
Ubisoft has released some beastly new screens from its upcoming first-person fantasy Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. Turns out that many of the monsters have their own complex relationships - while securing their freedom, Orcs discovered and attempted to train the Paokai dragons with only rumored success; and Necromancers pretty much control the Zombies and Ghouls at will - not to mention the enormous Undead Cyclops. Not all your enemies are quite so inhuman: City Guards go after anybody they ...

PC News | Dark Messiah of Might and Magic
Wednesday 3 May 2006 Ubisoft's first-person RPG, Dark Messiah of Might & Magic, is more about slugging it out in close combat than worrying about experience points. And these new shots will give you a taste of the gruesome blade fodder you'll be standing toe-to-toe with when the game launches later this year. Forget the obvious comparisons to Oblivion, Dark Messiah offers far more options for skirmishing tactics than its massively single-player rival. While in a brawl you can kick out at your ...

PC News | Dark Messiah of Might and Magic
First-person fantasy role-players may think that they have everything that they need to make it through the long summer with Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. But Oblivion is so engrossing that we've already burned through even that mountain of content, and have no multiplayer to extend our gameplay. Worry not; there is a fireball-hurling, swashbuckling savior on the way. Just in time for summer, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic promises to be the second coming of first-person fantasy adventure on the ...

PC - Dark Void - Dark Void multiplayer mode canned

There's no multiplayer mode planned for Capcom's Dark Void, director of design Kraig Kujawa has confirmed.

"We explored it, but there are so many huge features in this game, we really wanted to focus on making the most kick-ass, single-player features possible," Kujawa told Joystiq.

And when Kujawa said the team 'explored it,' he meant the team actually built a multiplayer mode. "We had multiplayer up and going," said ...

PC News | Dark Void
Oct 23, 2007 It's difficult to extrapolate the story, feel and impact of a game you've only seen running in trailer form. But we'll give it a go. Fortunately, Dark Void appears to be the sort of experience you can amusingly call 'WYSIWYG'. Because 'what you see is what you get' doesn't sound funny enough. Capcom's actioner blends together survival horror overtones (just look at that ghoulish logo), Ratchet & Clank high-octane gameplay and a near-Scientologist story arc. Aliens "create" us, we ...
