PC - Damnation - No Lead Platform for Damnation Speaking to GAMER.tm, lead game designer Jacob Minkoff confirmed that both console versions of Damnation will be near identical when it's released this winter.

PC News from N4G | Damnation
PC - Damnation - Destructoid PAX 08: Damnation hands-on Destructoid hands-on:
We managed to get a peek at Damnation at E3 earlier this summer. We were glad that Codemasters had us over to check it out, but we were a bit bummed to see that it was a hands-off preview. Luckily we were finally able to get some hands-on time with Damnation at PAX.
Damnation is set in a world that you might call an Orwellian alternate America. It has an early 1900's mostly-American feel, but there are also European elements and steampunk influences. The setting is unique to say the least.
Keep your eye out on more of Damnation, coming to the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.

PC News from N4G | Damnation
PC - Damnation - BioShock shouldn't have worked - Eurogamer writes: "Damnation developer Blue Omega reckons there was "no frigging way" BioShock should have ended up being successful.

Game designer Jason Minkoff was comparing it to Damnation to illustrate that all you can do in the shooter genre is pour your heart into a project and hope it gets noticed.

"We're just making the best we can, because a good game is a good game. And if you make a good game, somebody is going to notice and somebody is going to play it," Jason Minkoff told Eurogamer on our trip to see Damnation."

PC News from N4G | Dark Age of Camelot
PC - Dark Age of Camelot - Kiddie Porn & Abuse Surrounding MMO Gold Selling Most MMO players know the story of IGE and Affinity Media by now, (the owners of WoWhead, Allakhazam, Thottbot and WoWinterface), and their relationship. A really interesting article popped up on Radar Online today which highlights some of the dodgy characters that are involved in the Affinity Media business which had claimed to have no involvement with IGE. Brock Pierce who is an advisor and a board member of Affinity Media, is highlighted in the above article and I have to say there's some pretty unsavoury stuff here pointing at child abuse. This has been brought up before regarding Brock Pierce who has apparently denied charges but there are filed legal cases which he has tried to settle.

In related news, there has been paperwork filed this week where IGE admits that it is Affinity Media (see additional link). Not that anyone doubted it. Next time you hit up an Affinity Media site, just think about who you are supporting and who's pockets your traffic is lining with cash.

The expansion pack, which offered players the chance to gain ludicrously powerful skills and weapons while completing a set of lengthy quests, was heavily criticised by fans for unbalancing the entire game. It even drove some disgruntled players to cancel their accounts. The ...
