After nearly a year of development and three public beta tests Battlefield 2 v1.50 is ready for release. The update will be released on Tuesday 1st September at 6pm Europe.

Battlefield series' associate producer, Barrie Tingle has provided an update on the long-awaited v1.50 patch for Battlefield 2 saying an official release is near.
EA has released a new beta patch for it's FPS title Battlefield 2. The update brings the game to v1.50 and is now available for download.
This mod from The Sir. Community has many changes, including a new HUD, a simplified server browser, new vehicles and more.
EA and DICE have just released the second beta patch (1.50) for Battlefield 2 that changes some items and reverts a few more (jump to prone delay, choppers on Highway Tampa).
Some changes are being made to the BF2 1.50 beta regarding the Operation Blue Pearl map. The changes should help level the playing field a little bit by giving the U.S. forces a chance at securing a flag on the waterline. All three map options (16,32,64 player) get some changes this time around.
