Veteran MMORPG Ultima Online recently received a significant overhaul in update Kingdom Reborn, and EA is inviting former players to come and take in the new sights for free.
The "Return to Brittania" campaign, as the initiative is named, forms part of a celebration of the game's tenth anniversary, and ex-OUers can play for free through to October 9.

Epic has finally decided not to support cross-platform online play between PC and PS3 on launch - although it may appear as a future addition.
Mark Rein has explained that the biggest challenge in doing cross-platform play is synchronizing the builds such that the build on the PC is 100-percent compatible with the build on the PS3.

As if we haven't seen enough Universe At War videos already Sega's gone and released three more, focusing on the game's trio of alien and human factions.
It's being developed by Petroglyph, the band of ex-Westwood rebels who made the quite-good and similarly-named Star Wars strategy effort Empire At War.
It's also got cross-platform play on Xbox 360, which should finally prove that console RTS games are rubbish without a mouse.

It's time for a bit of good old fashioned alien invasion thanks to a new two-minute gameplay trailer from Petroglyph's RTS game Universe at War: Earth Assault.

Unreal Tournament 3 was given a November 2007 release on PC and PS3 at this year's E3 but now Epic says that's not guaranteed.

UT developer Epic Games has run out of ideas on how to name a multiplayer CTF map and it needs your help. To be fair they have released quite a few over the years though...
Just as we were getting excited about pitching names like CTF-GamesRadar or CTF-Beer and BBQ, we looked at Epic's tips on how to choose a name.
It has to sound cool!
The name must be of the form "CTF-Name." Multi-word names should be capitalized, i.e., "CTF-FirstSecondThirdWord."
