North is arguably the best-known actor in videogames, due in no small
part to his having starred in pretty much all of them. And while he's
relishing his role as the vocal and facial lead of the Assassin's
Creed franchise, North has a suggestion for Ubisoft: he wants to
start strapping ping-pong balls to his extremities in the name of
Assassin's Creed, and he wants other voice-actors to do the same...
Ubisoft has announced the
first DLC for the newly-launched Assassin's Creed: Revelations. The
Ancestors Character Pack will add four new characters to the
multiplayer world of Assassin's Creed, each bringing their own
complement of original weaponry, moves and taunts. The pack doesn't
launch until Dec 13, but it, and its as-yet-unannounced followup, are
available for preorder now...

Today, OnLive announced the release of the free OnLive app for tablet and mobile platforms. Using the cloud-based gaming service, you can now stream over 20 of what OnLive calls “console-class” games to your tablet and mobile devices.
