Gaming is an up and down experience. Some years cram top quality titles into our every orifice until were bursting with videogame joy and have excess polygons dripping messily out of our ears, while some other years… Well, some other years are 1983.
In 2007 though, weve had a very good year indeed. A scarily good year in fact. One which has provided us so much brilliance on every format that its a genuine worry that the laws of karmic balance will soon bring us a plague

Halo 3 touches down September 26, GTA IV takes over town on October 19 and now it's been confirmed by Ubisoft that the swelteringly anticipated Assassin's Creed will be pushing its way through the crowds for a worldwide release on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 in November. That's three massive games in three consecutive months.
And while Ubisoft's stealthy killer will certainly have its work cut out following in the trail of Halo and GTA, the game's publisher/developer is confident that Assassin's

Beowulf
Beowulf: The Film will be out in November, and will be sharing a publicity budget with a Game of the same name. The film is produced by Robert Zemeckis (this isnt the last Zemeckis reference in this weeks Trailer Trash - youve been warned), and features an all star cast including Angelina Jolie, John Malkovitch, Anthony Hopkins, Crispin Glover, and others. This trailer for the game, however, stars a sword falling into a puddle over and over while some repetitive-looking
